Instructor of Pole
Started Pole in 2018
Why I started pole dancing – I took my first pole class in 2018 while living in Vermont I was instantly hooked, it was the best thing that I had ever done. I’ve always admired how graceful and ethereal pole dancers move and it felt amazing to try it for myself. It really helped me get out of my shell and combat the downers of the long and harsh northern winter.
The struggles that existed in pursuing Pole Fitness – Access and relocation. I started pole during a very nomadic time of my life and went through periods where I didn’t have studios near me. I turned these lemons into lemonade by learning the importance of cross training to preserve strength, delving into other non-aerial styles of dance to be an overall more creative and seasoned mover, and I got to meet and learn from some amazing dancers across the country!
Reasons to be an instructor – It’s such a satisfying feeling to see students nail the tricks that they’ve been working on, or the uncontainable excitement to try a really cool move. But best of all is seeing how students begin to develop their own style of dancing as they progress with pole
